G.R.A.C.E. believes that prospective adopters should have a chance to learn about the greyhounds available. See what they look like, ask questions about particular dogs, and ultimately choose a greyhound who will best suit their circumstances and enrich their lives.

We help adopters choose dogs by providing detailed information about each dog and offering suggestions about which dogs would work best in the adopter’s environment.

We do not place a dog in a home without the adopters full involvement in the decision-making process.

All families with children ages 3 through 5 years must have a fenced in yard to adopt.

I did okay, I guess at cat testing...I would do great with a cat who puts me in my place...at least I didn't want to eat the cat! I settled really quick in my temporary foster home...no accidents in the house and slept all night. I have just been placed in my foster home so I can learn the finer points of being a pet. Stay tuned for updates. Update: 12/5/2025 Syra is settling in great to retired life! She is very quick to learn all the new rules that come along with living in a house. She has lots of energy and loves to play with squeaky toys and run around the backyard with her two foster brothers. She is such a sweetheart and loves being around people, although she still hasn't figured out the meaning of personal space 😂 |

Stay tune as my foster dad learns more about me. Update 11/24/2025 Foster Nate is adjusting to life off the track very well, learning a lot an a big change from when I got him at Sue’s house. He is doing good with my dogs, much better than when he first arrived here. He has had zero accidents in the house and knows to do his business outside with the other dogs. Sleeps through the night an is eating very good, he is really food motivated! We are working on walking on the leash, he pulls very hard, getting better though. No separation anxiety and crates well if needed. Doing very well for just over a week. Still a lot to learn, but I see improvements everyday. I will attempt to send along with this email a few pictures of Nate. |
